I had a 2005 Road King police version and wanted to make some changes to it. Well, I gave this a lot of thought and prayer and came up with what I wanted to do in my mind. I had heard about someone that did airbrushing in my area in a magazine and planned on contacting her, but God stepped in and I ended up meeting her in person at a bike blessing. After talking to Adelle and seeing some of her work, I knew she was the one that I needed to have do this.
Well, after several discussions and a couple of samples it happened. Adelle was able to capture exactly what I was hoping and praying for in the scene for the lids. Once the paint was done and the clear was applied I was blown away by how good it had all turned out…Even better than I had hoped.
Now, the scene that was depicted on the lids is the scene of the crucifixion with the three crosses. What really makes the whole thing come together and catches everyone’s eyes is the ghosting of our Lord’s face looking down from the heavens and the Holy Spirit in flight also ghosted in. I can’t tell you how many people just stand and look at the scene and tell me that they love it and it is meaningful to them. I use my bike as a ministry tool and this is all part of it.
I had the bike in one show last year and it was an annual car and bike show at a local church. The turn out for both the cars and the bikes was good and there were a few custom bikes at the show also. I was able to take first place in the Peer Choice and Popular Choice categories with my bike. Now, other than the airbrush paint work on the saddlebag lids, the bike is pretty stock looking so the lids went over big…Thanks.
I just want to thank Adelle for her time and effort and thank God for the abilities that she has to bring glory to you in her art work.
